REACTIVATE YOUR DIVING PADI ReActivate

Your PADI certification never expires; but if you haven't been diving in a while, it's better to be over-prepared than risk a problem because you forget something important. For just a knowledge review, complete eLearning. To get comfortable in the water again, also schedule time with dive professional.

ReActivate is the engaging, efficient way to refresh your dive knowledge and scuba skills. Move quickly through topics you know well, dive deeper on topics where your knowledge may have lapsed.

It's easy to fit a scuba refresher program into your busy schedule. Using a computer or mobile device, watch videos of how to perform basic scuba skills and review dive planning and safety procedures - whenever, wherever it's convenient for you.

The ReActivate program is particularly beneficial if you:

  • Are a PADI Open Water Diver course referral student who wants a refresher prior to making your open water training dives
  • Are a PADI Scuba Diver who wants to upgrade to Open Water Diver
  • Just haven’t scuba dived in a while and want to get familiar again

What you Learn

You go over scuba knowledge you learned during your initial training.  This is accomplished via an easy-to-use eLearning course which you can purchase directly from PADI here:

PADI ReActivate

After you complete the knowledge assessments, you can choose whether you feel comfortable to get back in the water already, or whether you would like to do a "Scuba Refresher" with a dive professional.

If you want to do some in-water practice then you can contact us, and we can then put together a refresher program tailored to your needs, training level, and timeframe.  Sometimes this will be run alongside relevant courses or activities already on our schedule, and other times it may need to be privately scheduled - we will discuss all the options with you when you contact us.

The Learning Materials You Need

Quickly and effectively review scuba diving fundamentals with PADI’s ReActivate eLearnining.  Begin by answering a few questions related to dive safety, problem management and dive planning. For example:

  • What are the five steps in a pre-dive safety check?
  • What is the maximum depth limit for all recreational diving?
  • What are the signs and symptoms of decompression sickness?
  • At 12 metres deep, a diver runs out of air. Her buddy is more than 18 metres away, what should she do?

Correct answers will allow you to progress quickly. For incorrect answers, you’ll be presented a brief explanation to help you understand the concept. To purchase your eLearning click here:
