The Master Diver rating is what every serious recreational scuba diver should be aiming for. It is the pinnacle of the SSI recreational dive ladder.

Prerequisites

• 12 years old
• SSI Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
• SSI Stress & Rescue Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
• Minimum of 4 SSI recreational scuba specialty courses or XR-level programs.
• Minimum of 50 logged open water dives
