What is Aquatic Adventures?

Aquatic Adventures is a SSI Diamond Instructor Training Centre based in Rowville, Victoria, Australia. 

Situated within 5 minutes drive of 2 of Melbourne's major freeways, and only 2 minutes off the main route down to the Mornington Peninsula, Aquatic Adventures is perfectly situated to cater to all your Victorian Scuba Diving needs.

We offer courses in all levels of recreational Scuba Diving, Technical Diving & Freediving, as well as professional-level courses.  Our Rowville store stocks a wide variety of dive equipment, provides servicing and gas fills, and we have a very active dive club.

Brief History of Aquatic Adventures

Aquatic Adventures has been part of the Victorian scuba diving industry since 2000.  We have always been in Rowville, though the store has moved twice - firstly from its original location in Fulham Road over to Wellington Road, and now to it's current location in Viewtech Place. 

Ollie & Christie, the owners, took over Aquatic Adventures back in early 2018, bringing with them the Aquaholics Dive Club, as well as a wealth of experience in the Scuba Diving industry, earned working both overseas and here in Victoria.

For much of its early history, Aquatic Adventures was a member of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), and is now part of the Scuba Schools International (SSI) member network.

Although the company has undergone many changes over the years, one thing remains the same - our dedication to our customers and to the Victorian scuba diving industry as a whole.  

What is a Diamond Instructor Training Centre?

An SSI Diamond Instructor Training Centre is the highest recognition level for an SSI training facility.  

An Instructor Training Centre is authorised not only to train divers at all recreational levels but also to run professional-level programs, meaning Aquatic Adventures can develop new SSI Dive Professionals (Divemasters, Assistant Instructors, Instructors etc). 

The “Diamond” designation is SSI’s premium quality award. It’s given annually to centres that demonstrate the highest standards in training, customer service, safety, professionalism, and business performance.

Holding both Instructor Training Centre status and Diamond recognition, means Aquatic Adventures is considered one of SSI’s flagship professional development facilities worldwide, consistently delivering outstanding education and service and acting as role models within SSI’s global network.
