A unique course, written in house and exclusively available at Aquatic Adventures. Learn about the issues surrounding Urchin Barrens in our local waters, and how we can become part of the solution to "Zombie Urchins" and help restore balance to the ecosystem.

Develop knowledge regarding the different types of Sea Urchins found around the world and gain an understanding of how & where they live.

Across a theory session, some dry workshops, and 2 optional dives, you will learn about the behaviours, adaptations & strategies of Sea Urchin populations, and come to understand how imbalances in a local ecosystem can lead to barrens, inhabited only by "Zombie Urchins".
