DPV (SCOOTER) DIVING
There are some dive sites which are so large, it becomes impossible to see all of them before you run out of gas or deco. Some sites experience strong currents, which can make navigating them tricky. And sometimes you just don’t feel like swimming! There’s an answer to all these issues: a Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV).
Gain the knowledge and skills needed to safely and comfortably dive with an underwater scooter by completing 3 dives and learning:
- DPV set up and maintenance.
- DPV diving procedures and etiquette.
- DPV safety and rescue skills.
If you do not have your own DPV, some of our staff and club members have some Black Tip Tech scooters that you may be able to rent for your training at an additional cost.
