Includes three boat dives, instructor boat costs and stage cylinders, with a maximum 2:1 student-to-professional ratio.

There’s something exciting and mysterious about exploring deeper dive sites while scuba diving. To scuba dive with confidence at depths down to 40 metres, you should take the SSI Deep Diving course and learn about:

• Specialized deep diving equipment.
• Deep dive planning, buddy contact procedures and buoyancy control.
• Managing your gas supply, dealing with gas narcosis and safety considerations.

This course comprises 4 dives - 1 shore dive skill session, and 3 boat dives.

Prerequisites:

• Minimum age is 15 years old.
• Minimum level of certification SSI Diver Stress & Rescue (or equivalent) is required to enrol in this course.
• Review the Medical Statement, which can be found here, and if required get a Diving Medical to ensure you are safe to dive.

Public course fee: $899 per person including GST. Minimum 4 participants.
