Try breathing underwater with a maximum of three participants per dive professional. This introductory experience is conducted in a swimming pool.

We know that you will love Scuba Diving, but we also completely understand that you may not yet be convinced. Just chat to some of our Instructors and they will be happy to tell you all about their own experiences learning to Scuba Dive - it didn't come naturally to many of them at the beginning, and as a result, "Try-before-you-buy" can help those who need to experience a bit of scuba first, before they commit to a full course.

Try Scuba Diving

A Try Scuba experience is your opportunity to try Scuba Diving in a safe, controlled & gentle environment.

This is NOT a Scuba Diving certification, and does not allow you to go and dive independently, however if you want to find out what it feels like to Scuba Dive, this is a great way to start!

Once you've tried it, and you love it, what next?

If you enjoy Try Scuba, you can continue towards a scuba diving certification. Whether this is the SSI Scuba Diver course, or whether you go all-in and take the SSI Open Water Diver course and earn your Open Water Diver certification, at Aquatic Adventures we will give you credit for what you have already completed - complete Try Scuba with us, and we will discount your SSI Open Water Diver course by $50!

Prerequisites:

• Minimum age is 10 years old.
• Review the Medical Statement, which can be found here and if required, get a Diving Medical to ensure you are safe to dive.

With a minimum of 3 participants, this course costs: $149.00 per person including GST.

We run Try Scuba sessions alongside all our Open Water Diver confined water pool sessions, and you can find dates on our Calendar.  Please email us to enquire about other dates for this course if the listed dates don't suit.
